Victoria Beckham has been named the UK's most successful entrepreneur of 2014, based on strong sales, the number of jobs she has created, and her estimated wealth overall, foreign media reported.
Victoria Beckham, who is married to former English footballer David Beckham, is one of the most prominent faces of fashion industry. She has turned her £1 million a year turnover business to £30 million.
She launches her business back in 2008 after leaving her music career with ‘Spice-Girl’ and since then she never looked back. Victoria Beckham, who is worth £210m, has become a ‘supremely talented entrepreneur in the fashion business,’ a leading Business magazine, Management Today quoted.
According to foreign media reports, Mrs Beckham, who is worth £210 million beat some stiff competition, including Amit and Meeta Patel founders of Auden Mckenzie the pharmaceutical group, Julian Dunkerton of Supergroup the clothing chain and Tony Pidgley the founder of Berkeley Group, the housebuilding firm.
She also swept aside competition from Chris and Chris Edwards of the discount retail chain Poundworld, Sir James Dyson the inventor and fellow fashion designers Sir Paul Smith and Dame Vivienne Westwood.
