Zardari, Gilani condemn assassination of Karzai’s brother

pakistanISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the assassination of Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

In a message of condemnation, President Zardari strongly condemned the incident and expressed his heartfelt condolences with President Karzai and his family over the tragic death of his brother.

Gilani termed the incident as an act of cowardice. The President and Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the departed soul in peace and grant courage and fortitude to President Hamid Karzai and the family members of the deceased to bear the irreparable loss.
