MQM has right to oppose commissionery system: Sharjeel
ISLAMABAD: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Sunday that all the political parties in Sindh, including Muslim League Functional, ANP and National Peoples Party have welcomed the commissionery system. He said only the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was opposing the commissionery system in the province, which was its political right.
Talking to a private news channel he said that the commissionery system was already implemented in three provinces and now it was implemented in Sindh.
He further said that this commissionery system had succeeded in the past. The masses had rejected the previous local government system of Musharaf.
He said the parties who condemned the system, should have challenged its implementation in other provinces in the court.
