BAGHDAD: Iraq plans to sign on Tuesday an initial $12 billion deal with Royal Dutch Shell and Mitsubishi to capture flared gas at southern oilfields, two sources close to the deal said on Sunday.
The oil ministry and the companies have worked out differences that had long delayed the joint venture, which was first announced in 2008, the sources said.
