LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 3.09 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5451.25 points and closed at 5454.34 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 569,800 shares to close against previous turnover of 1.030 million shares, showing a downward move of 460,800 shares. While, out of the total 101 active scrips 18 moved up, 21 shed values and 62 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Din Textile Mills Limited, Pakistan National Sipping Corporation and Ghazi Fabrics International Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.30, Rs 3.58 and Re 0.90 respectively.
Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 3.40, Rs 2.03 and Rs 1.54 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 116,500 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 112,500 shares and Avanceon Limited with 67,000 shares.
