ANP welcomes commissionerate system in Karachi

karachiKARACHI: The Awami National Party (ANP) on Saturday welcomed the revival of commissionerate system in Karachi and assured the government of all-out cooperation for restoring peace in the city.

In a statement, ANP Secretary Information Senator Zahid Khan said the commissionerate system would help in bringing peace in Karachi. He said an ANP delegation led by ANP Sindh President Shahi Syed would meet President Asif Zardari on Monday to discuss ways and means to end violence in Karachi.
