Iraq issues new tender to buy minimum 30,000 T rice

HAMBURG: Iraq's state grains buyer has issued an international tender to buy at least 30,000 tonnes of rice, European traders said on Monday.

The closing date for the tender is Monday, Sept. 22, and offers must be valid until Friday, Sept. 26.

The rice can be sourced from the United States, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Vietnam and Thailand. Thai white rice will be accepted, traders said.
