Safdar for saving precious lives in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab and Member National Assembly Imtiaz Safdar Waraich said on Friday that control of the circumstances in Karachi was in the hands of political forces. All the political parties to play their due role in saving the precious lives and main financial hub of the country, he added.

Talking to a private TV news channel, Safdar Waraich urged all the political forces including MQM to demonstrate a high spirit of toleration so that current situation in the city of Karachi could be normalized.

PPP Punjab President said some elements were trying to give a message to Federal Government through committing such criminal activities that if they would not stay in the government then no one would stay in power.

To a question, he urged all the parties keeping differences a side should come forward to play their role for development and prosperity of the poor masses and to change the fate of the country so that we could enter a new era of the modern world.
