Superstar Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan have always delivered one film a year and the same trend has been followed by King Shah Rukh Khan, who has also started doing only one film a year.
According to media reports, “SRK, who earlier used to treat his fans with two to three films per year, has now chosen to give one film only. However, when asked about the same, King Khan quipped, I like making one film at a time”.
Shahrukh Khan further said that, “I can't do more than one film at a time. I am through with that. ‘Happy New Year’ is a big film. It had 170 days of shooting,” media reported.
In beginning of his career he used to do two to three films a year but King Khan said, “I have never done that actually. In 25 years, I have done 55 full-length feature films. So, I have never been able to do more than two to two and a half films in a year even in the times when people used to do 12 films,” media reported.
“I would like to keep it that way. I enjoy doing one film. I like finishing it, taking some time off, spending time with kids and then get on to the next one,” added King Khan.
SRK is currently busy promoting his forthcoming venture ‘Happy New Year’ which also stars Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood and Abhishek Bachchan.
