ISLAMABAD: WAPDA has decided not to cut power supply during the holy month of Ramazan across the country to provide relief to masses, Secretary WAPDA said here on Wednesday.
Talking to media in Parliament House, he said that last year the electricity loadshedding was also suspended during the holy month of Ramazan despite heavy shortfall.
He said currently the power generation is 13,158 MW and demand is 17,887 thus resulting in 4,729 MW shortfall, adding that the recovery campaign would help overcome loadshedding problem.
