Hina appreciates professionalism of Ministry of Foreign Affairs
ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar greatly appreciated the professionalism and expertise of officers of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which equipped them for projecting Pakistan’s interests abroad.
The Minister was addressing the passing out ceremony of the 30th Specialized Diplomatic Course and the inaugural ceremony of the 31st Specialized Diplomatic Course of the Foreign Service Officers at the Foreign Service Academy. Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir was also present on the occasion.
The Minister stressed that national interests were at the core of any relationship with a foreign country.
She also underscored the importance of economic diplomacy in making tangible contributions towards the progress of Pakistan.
The Director General of the Foreign Service Academy, Ambassador Sohail Amin, in his address focused on the comprehensive training provided to the new entrants.
