He directed the Home Department to submit proposal for separating 4 to 5 anti-terrorism courts for trial of the cases relating to ongoing targeted operation and also to arrange trial of high profile cases outside Karachi.

The Chief Minister instructed the officers not to stop the peaceful protest of PTI workers but to show their tolerance and deal with political protestors, ensuring protection of the rights of other citizens.

Briefing the meeting, IGP Ghulam Hyder Jamali said that tenders for purchase of bullet proof jackets, vehicles and other gadgets would be floated within weeks time.

He said that crime rate in the city has substantially declined due to combined efforts of police and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
