Fruit, vegetable prices witness increase

ISLAMABAD: The prices of fruits and vegetable have witnessed increase due to protests calls of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in federal capital.

The fruits and vegetable vendors expressed concerns over the frequent processions in federal capital, which interrupt the normal life of the citizens.

Ghulam Hussain, a fruit vendor said that the prices of fruits have increased due to shortage of supply in the main fruit market.

The vendors said that the local administration should specify separate locations for these kinds of protests, which are causing loss of their small business.
