imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearsh trend by losing 64.78 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5479.17 points and closed at 5414.39 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.489 million shares to close against previous turnover of 820,900 shares, showing an upward move of 668,500 shares. While, out of the total 84 active scrips 13 moved up, 10 shed values and 61 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Din Textile Mills Limited, Cherat Cement Company Limited and Avanceon Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.08, Rs 3.42 and Rs 1.40, respectively.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Lafarge Pakistan Cement and K-Electric Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.83, Re 0.30 and Re 0.29 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 427,000 shares, K-Electric Limited with 353,500 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 210,500 shares.
