ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Tuesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 6.00 points and closed at 4,553. 80 points.
A total of 488,500 shares were traded, which were up by 327,000 shares when it compared with previous day's trading of 161,500 shares.
Out of 130 companies, share prices of 59 companies recorded increase while share prices of 71 companies registered decrease where as one company remained stable in today's trading.
The share price of Murree Brewery increased by Rs. 33.18 per share while the share prices of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan decreased by Rs. 44.99 per share.
Bank of Punjab, Cherat Cement and Silk Bank remained the top trading companies in Tuesday's trading with 20,000, 1,000 and 1,000 shares respectively.
