LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 35.83 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5562.87 points and closed at 5598.70 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.203 million shares to close against previous turnover of 490,200 shares, showing an upward move of 713,400 shares. While, out of the total 83 active scrips 18 moved up, 19 shed values and 46 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Packages Limited, Oil & Gas Development Company Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.75, Rs 5.73 and Rs 4.46 respectively.
Mitchells Fruit Farms Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Mari Petroleum Company Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 10, Rs 7.56 and Rs 6.24 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Sui Southern Gas Company Limited with 400,000 shares, Hascol Petroleum Limited with 164,000 shares and Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 159,000 shares.
