LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 142.72 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5647.07 points and closed at 5789.79 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.596 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.317 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.278 million shares. While, out of the total 91 active scrips 23 moved up, 18 shed values and 50 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Mari Petroleum Company, Lucky Cement Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 17.75, Rs 16.99 and Rs 4.56 respectively.
Shell Pakistan Limited, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited and Millat Tractors Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 10.60, Rs 5.59 and Rs 3.46 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included K-Electric Limited with 927,000 shares, Fatima Fertilizer Company with 400,000 shares and Pakistan Tele Communication Limited with 364,500 shares.
