ISE-10 index witnesses bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) witnessed bearish trend here on Friday as the ISE-10 index was down by 2.86 points to close at 4,451.42 points.

A total of 616,200 shares were traded, which showed positive growth of 594,000 shares when compared with previous day's trading of 22,200 shares.

Out of 158 companies, share prices of 78 companies recorded increase while those of 80 companies decreased and no company remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan increased by Rs 45.00 while that of Murree Brewery decreased by Rs. 52.14 per share.

PTCL, Byco Petroleum and Pakistan Petroleum remained the top trading companies with 550,000, 30,000 and 17,500 shares respectively.
