LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 120.42 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5591.58 points and closed at 5712.00 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.707 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.053 million shares, showing an upward move of 653,600 shares. While, out of the total 98 active scrips 23 moved up, 14 shed values and 61 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Hascol Petroleum Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.09, Rs 2.85 and Rs 2.08 respectively.
Hala Enterprise Limited, Singer Pakistan Limited and Muslim Commercial Bank Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 1.45, Rs 1.03 and Rs 1.02 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 720,500 shares, K-Electric Limited with 319,000 shares, and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited with 100,000 shares.
