HANOI: Vietnam's crude oil production in May fell 4 percent from a year earlier to an estimated 1.25 million tonnes, or 295,600 barrels per day (bpd), the government said on Tuesday.
The actual output in April fell 0.7 percent from the initial estimate to 1.22 million tonnes, a 3.1 percent decrease from the same month in 2013, the General Statistics Office said in its monthly report.
