LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 107.40 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5354.52 points and closed t 5461.92 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.720 million shares to close against previous turnover of 828,100 shares, showing an upward move of 892,150 shares. While, out of the total 89 active scrips 17 moved up, 14 shed values and 58 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were General Tyre and Rubber Company, Highnoon Laboratories Limited and Treet Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.06, Rs 2.86 and Rs 1.34 respectively.
Shezan International Limited, Hascol Petroleum Limited and Engro Food Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 41.94, Rs 3.40 and Rs 1.16 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included K-Electric Limited with 506,500 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 384,500 shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 377,500 shares.
