ISE stays bearish

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Wednesday witnessed a bearish trend as the ISE-10 Index was down by 14.43 points to close at 4370.81 points.

A total of 289,000 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 139,500 shares when compared to previous day's trading of 276,500 shares.

Out of 148 companies, share prices of 49 recorded increase while those of 99 companies decreased.

The share price of Murree Brewery increased by Rs 43.91 while that of Pakistan Tobacco decreased by Rs 48.55 per share.

K-Electric, Lafrage Pakistan Cement, and PIA remained the top trading company with 175,000, 63,500 and 50,000 respectively.
