LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 35.02 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5322.95 points and closed at 5357.97 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 828,100 shares to close against previous turnover of 851,400 shares, showing a downward slide of 23,300 shares. While, out of the total 89 active scrips 15 moved up, 17 shed values and 57 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Highnoon Laboratories Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Otsuka Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.45, Rs 4.36 and Rs 1.80 respectively.
Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Muslim Commercial Bank Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 4.21, Rs 1.90 and Re 0.97 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 241,500 shares, K-Electric Limited with 143,000 shares and Hascol Petroleum Limited with 128,500 shares.
