ISE-10 index witnesses bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) witnessed bearish trend here on Friday as the ISE-10 index was down by 15.68 points to close at 4,471.10 points.

A total of 15,000 shares were traded, which showed a negative growth of 156,000 shares when compared with previous day's trading of 171,000 shares.

Out of 147 companies, share prices of 79 companies recorded increase while those of 68 companies decreased and no company remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Murree Brewery increased by Rs 31.58 while that of Pakistan Tobacco decreased by Rs 33.57 per share.

Byco Petroleum, Fauji Cements and Silk Bank remained the top trading companies with 5,000, 5000 and 2,000 shares respectively.
