ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) witnessed bearish trend here on Wednesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 6.11 points to close at 4,439.73 points.
A total of 27,600 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 25,100 shares when compared with previous day's trading of 2,500 shares.
Out of 139 companies, share prices of 57 companies recorded increase while those of 82 companies decreased and no company remained stable in today's trading.
The share price of Mitchells Fruit Farm increased by Rs 19.90 while that of Pakistan Tobacco decreased by Rs 65.50 per share.
Byco Petroleum, Silk Bank and National Bank of Pakistan remained the top trading companies with 25,000, 2,000 and 500 shares respectively.
