sharjeel-inam-memonKARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon Tuesday announced Rs 1 million each for the victims of alleged firing by the personnel of rangers in Lyari.

"Government of Sindh will provide compensation of Rs 1 million each for the families of Ismail Baloch and Sharif-ul- Haq allegedly killed in firing by the Rangers," Sharjeel said while addressing the protesting families and media outside the Sindh Assembly building.

"But we cannot blame all the institutions for the act of an individual," he further pointed out.

Memon said that Sindh Chief Minister has himself taken cognizance of the incident and would ensure action against those involved in any kind of extra-judicial killings etc., without any discrimination.

"No one will be allowed to take law in his own hands," he added.

He further assured the protestors that no stone will be left unturned to provide justice to the aggrieved families.
