According to the Hindustan Times Bollywood stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma’s official Facebook page has garnered over 9.3 million fan following.
He has beaten the record of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who currently has around 8.3 million likes on his page.
However, Sharma, who hosts ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, said it certainly doesn’t mean he is more popular than the ‘Chennai Express’ actor.
The Hindustan Times quoted Sharma as saying, "It does not mean I have greater following than SRK. He is a legend. It will be cheap if I start thinking on such lines."
"Though it is nice to know that people love the show and myself. Our show comes on air every week, maybe that's the reason."
