LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 45.68 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5444.50 points and closed at 5490.18 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.224 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.792 million shares, showing an upward move of 431,600 shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips 28 moved up, 17 shed values and 59 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Service Industries Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 6.06, Rs 2.65 and Rs 2.29 respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, Netsol Technologies Limited and ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited lost their per share value by Rs 4.71, Rs 1.90 and Rs 1.25 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 263,000 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 261,000 shares and K-Electric Limited with 255,000 shares.
