KARACHI: Bangkadesh Cricket Board (BCB) is keen to hire the service of legendary fast bowler and ex-Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram as their bowling consultant.
According to BCB media committee chairman, Jalal Yunus the initial contact has been made, however they are now looking forward to hearing from the legendry fast bowler.
"Chairman of the cricket operations committee, Akram Khan has informed the BCB about his interaction with Wasim Akram, on the matter, during the recently concluded World T20 Cup", he told a private television channel on Thursday.
The head of the Cricket Operation Committee is basically the in-charge of the cricket affairs at the BCB.
"The development has not taken an official shape as yet, but the BCB would love to have Wasim Akram in the fold", he said.
"We are anticipating a response from Wasim Akram soon, after which a formal meeting would be held," he commented.
