KARACHI: Karachi police during past 24 hours conducted 98 raids and had seven encounters with criminals leading to the arrest of 92 involved in different crimes, said a police report issued on Wednesday.
The exercise undertaken as part of ongoing campaign against criminals and terrorists in the metropolis was fully supported by CID also leading to recovery of arms and ammunition including hand grenade, pistols and so-forth.
According to details made available through the report two were arrested under the Anti-terrorist Act, one for murder two for abduction under ransom, one for holding un licensed arm, 14 under Drug Act, 17 for dacoity and 92 for different other crimes.
The arrested also included 14 absconders.
