LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange here Thursday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 142.09 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5211.23 points and closed at 5353.32 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 11.651 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.940 million shares, showing an upward move of 8.711 million shares. While, out of the total 102 active scrips 47 moved up, 9 shed values and 46 remaine equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited and Engro Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.30, Rs 6.78 and Rs 4.00 respectively.
Engro Foods Limited, Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited and Pioneer Cement Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.40, Re 0.93 and Re 0.33 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Summit Bank Limited with 3.570 million shares, Silkbank Limited (Saudi) with 2.406 million shares and NIB Bank Limited with 2.383 million shares.
