NAIROBI: Kenyan listed private equity firm Centum Investment said on Tuesday its group's pretax profit grew 112 percent to 2.294 billion shillings ($26.37 million) for the year ended March, as its assets grew.
It said its asset base grew to 15 billion shillings from 9 billion shillings in the same period in 2010.
"These results are good, but not good enough for us. They will only be good once we are a force to reckon with in Africa," said Centum's chief executive James Mworia at an investor briefing.
