Two bills referred to finance committee

ISLAMABAD: Senate on Tuesday referred two bills to finance committee for further deliberation.

On the suggestion of former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the Chairman Senate referred the two bills to the finance committee with condition to complete the process with in one month.

One bill was to further amend the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956 (The state Bank of Pakistan Amendment) bill 2010 as passed by the National Assembly.

While the other bill to provide for the re-organization and conversion of the Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan into a public limited company (The industrial Development Bank of Pakistan (reorganization and Conversion) bill 2001 as passed by the National Assembly.

Dar said the committee will examine the bill in detail and would make useful changes if required.

While, two bill move by the Col. (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi and were also presented in the house.
