ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Friday as the ISE-10 index was down by 18.51 points and closed at 4,556.92 points.
A total of 1,882,000 shares were traded, which were up by 724,600 shares when it compared with previous day's trading of 1,157,400 shares.
Out of 161 companies, share prices of 43 companies recorded increase while share prices of 118 companies registered decrease where as one company remained stable in today's trading.
The share price of Pakistan Tobacco increased by Rs 32.86 per share while the share prices of National food decreased by Rs 11.25 per share.
Bank of Punjab, Laferge Pakistan Cement and Byco Petroleum remained the top trading companies in the trading with 1,524,000, 130,000 and 100,000 shares respectively.
