LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange here Thursday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 6.12 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5122.57 points and closed at 5128.69 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.818 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.642 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.175 million shares. While, out of the total 123 active scrips 37 moved up, 21 shed values and 65 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Engro Corporation Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, and Glaxo Smith Kline Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 8.45, Rs 7.65 and Rs 5.50 respectively.
The Hub Power Company Limited, Lafarge Pakistan Cement, and PakGen Power Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.87, Re 0.34 and Re 0.31 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab (R1) with 1.066 million shares, Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 729,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 357,000 shares.
