KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs43 to Rs42,471 per 10 grams in local bullion market Tuesday, as its international price also improved to $ 1,539 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association, tola (11.664 grams) price also increase by Rs50 to Rs49,550.
However, silver closed higher at Rs1,088.57 per 10 grams.
