LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 28.48 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5129.70 points and closed at 5158.18 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 3.575 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.790 million shares, showing a downward slide of 214,800 shares. While, out of the total 122 active scrips 44 moved up, 14 shed values and 64 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Crescent Steel and Allied Mills Limited and Habib Sugar Mills Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.25, Rs 2.45 and Rs 1.84 respectively.
Nishat (Chunian) Limited, The Hub Power Company Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company lost their per share value by Re 0.85, Re 0.73 and Re 0.70 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 1.435 million shares, KASB Bank Limited with 379,000 shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 297,000 shares.
