LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 37.56 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5246.76 points and closed at 5284.32 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.475 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.562 million shares, showing an upward move of 913,900 shares. While, out of the total 142 active scrips 47 moved up, 18 shed values and 77 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Ellcot Spinning Mills Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Century Paper and Board Mills Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.88, Rs 5.49 and Rs 2.98 respectively.
Mari Petroleum Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Dawood Hercules Corporation lost their per share value by Rs 12.20, Rs 1.35 nd Rs 1.10 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 535,500 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 279,500 shares and K-Electric Limited with 225,000 shares.
