ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Friday released 288,710 cusecs water from various rim stations with an inflow of 317,747 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1435.30 feet which was 57.30 feet above its dead level of 1378 feet.

Water inflow was recorded as 138,300 cusecs in the dam while outflow was recorded as 138,900 cusecs.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 155,228, 143,544 and 67,010 cusecs respectively.

The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1156.35 feet which is 116.35 feet above its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow was recorded as 69,637 and outflow of water in the dam was recorded as 40,000 cusecs.

Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 59,800 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 50,010 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
