Grief prevails in Hangu as death toll mounts to 35

HANGU: Grief and sorrow prevailed in Hangu district after a deadly car bomb explosion near DPO office as death toll mounted to 35 while more than 50 injured, police said. On Friday morning, most of the shops were closed and traffic was thin on road as people belonging to every walk of life are condemning the deadly car bomb explosion in which three policemen were also killed. The funeral prayer of police cop Khandam Khan would be offered at 4 pm at Thall Parachinar while bodies of constables Falak Naiz and Tanver were shifted to Lakki Marwat and Hangu for last rituals. People are coming to residences of victims and are offering fateha for departed souls.
In different places, funeral prayers of victims is being held in Hangu and parts of the adjoining areas. The rescue workers and police have completed relief work and debris from collapsed buildings were removed.
