LAHORE: The city district government Lahore has fixed prices of essential items within the jurisdiction of district administration.
According to sources, gram daal would be sold in retail market at RS 56 per kg, Basan Rs 62/kg, Basmati Rice Super (new) Rs 120/kg, Basmati Rice (386) Rs 105, Daal Masoor Desi Rs 136/KG, Daal Masoor Moti Rs 105/kg, Daal Maash white Rs 120/kg, Daal Mash whole Rs 120/kg, Chana Black Rs 56/kg, Chana white Rs 66/kg, Red Chili Rs 200/kg, Sugar Rs 52/kg, Milk Rs 60/kg, Dehi (yogurt) Rs 65/kg, Mutton Rs 500/kg, Beef Rs 250/kg while Roti would be sold at Rs 6.
DCO Dr Ahmad Javed issued directions to the Price Control Magistrates to continue inspection of prices at local level.
He directed the shopkeepers to display the official price list of commodities on a prominent place in their shops.
