LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 26.03 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5012.90 points and closed at 5038.98 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 5.718 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.696 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.021 million shares. While, out of the total 121 active scrips 36 moved up, 25 shed values and 60 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Engro Corporation Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Engro Foods Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.21, Rs 5.00 and Rs 4.35 respectively.
Crescent Steel and Allied Mills Limited, D.G.Khan Cement Company and Engro Polymer and Chemical Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.09, Re 0.95 and Re 0.55 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement Limited with 2.519 million shares, Karachi Electric Supply Company with 975,500 shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 586,000 shares.
