According to Indian media reports Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif’s latest release ‘Dhoom 3’ has created history in Bollywood by minting over Rs 500 crores at the worldwide box-office.
"'Dhoom:3' continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs.500 crore worldwide," the film’s production banner, Yash Raj Films revealed on Monday.
The third installment in the highly-successful ‘Dhoom’ franchise raked in over Rs 350 crores in India, while in domestic market it collected over Rs 150 crores.
The action-thriller, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, was reportedly released in 4500 screens across the country and 820 screens overseas.
