LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 34.50 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4978.40 points and closed at 5012.90 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.696 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.446 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.250 million shares. While, out of the total 124 active scrips 44 moved up, 19 shed values and 61 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Mari Petroleum Comapny, Shell Pakistan Limited and Treet Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.55, Rs 6.48 and Rs 3.98 respectively.
D.G.Khan Cement Company, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.85, Re 0.57 and Re 0.55, respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 676,500 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 675,000 shares and Faysal Bank Limited with 562,000 shares.
