ISE-10 index stays bearish

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 32.64 points to close at 4605.75 points.

A total of 72,800 shares were traded, which showed a growth of 72,400 shares when compared with previous day's trading of 400 shares.

Out of 156 companies, share prices of 69 companies recorded increase while those of 87 companies decreased and no company remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan increased by Rs 33.14 while that of Siemens Pakistan Engineering decreased by Rs 45.5 per share.

NIB Bank, Byco Petroleum and Lafrage Pakistan Cement remained the top trading companies with 50,000, 15,000 and 7,500 shares respectively.
