LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 7.58 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4679.81 points and closed at 4687.39 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.703 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.850 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.852 million shares. While, out of the total 116 active scrips 41 moved up, 19 shed values and 56 remained equal.
Major gainers of the day were Attock Refinery Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 10.37, Rs 7.04 and Rs 6.80 respectively.
Mari Petroleum Company, Treet Corporation Limited and Glaxo Smith Kline Pakistan Limited lost their per share value by Rs 11.36, Rs 2.48 and Rs 2.14 respectively.
Top three volume leaders of the day included Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited with 1.527 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 416,500 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 201,500 shares.
