LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday with bullish trend by gaining 37.10 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4635.40 points and closed at 4672.50 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.921 million shares to close against the previous turnover of 1.167 million shares, showing an upward move of 754,150 shares. Out of the total 98 active scrips 32 moved up, 9 shed values and 57 remained equal.
Major gainers of the day were Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Highnoon Laboratories Limited and Engro Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 16.34, Rs 5.95 and Rs 2.87 respectively.
Mitchells Fruit Farms Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company and Huffaz Seamless Pipes Industries Limited lost their per share value by Rs 20.92, Re 0.80 and Re 0.10 respectively.
Top three volume leaders of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 581,500 shares, Pakistan Tele Communication Limited with 354,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 290,500 shares.
