LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 67.71 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4455.26 and closed at 4522.97 points.
The market's overall situation also correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 2.120 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.377 million shares, showing an upward move of 742,450 shares. While, out of the total 94 active scrips, 45 moved up, 36 remained equal with 13 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Engro Corporation Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 13.90, Rs 8.00 and Rs 6.51 respectively.
Allied Bank Limited, National Bank of Pakistan and Pakistan Reinsurance Company lost their per share value by Rs 1.15, Re 0.76 and Re 0.31 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 497,500 shares, Pakistan Tele Communication Limited with 269,000 share and Lotte Chemical Pakistan with 230,000 shares.
