SEOUL: South Korean bonds ended lower on Monday as firm US manufacturing data last week fueled speculation that the Federal Reserve may start tapering its bond-buying stimulus in December and led to position adjustments.
Yield on the benchmark 10-year government bonds was quoted at 3.476 percent compared with Friday's closing level of 3.450 percent.
Lead December futures on three-year treasury bonds ended down 0.06 points at 105.86.
