KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs 214 to Rs 41,785 per 10 grams in local bullion market Wednesday, as its international price also increased to $ 1,525 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 250 to Rs 48,750.
Silver closed higher at Rs 1,157.14 per 10 grams.
